With snow and chilly wind blowing on the arrival of winter, it is time to get crafty with winter associated projects. Make arctic animals with your kids using craft supplies and introduce creatures that live in cold areas. Today I am sharing a cute popsicle sticks walrus craft that I made with my kindergartner, who was interested in the color, tusks and other relevant features of this pacific animal.

Walrus Craft tutorial
Start by gluing the sticks together by aligning 7 popsicle sticks horizontally and placing two half-cut popsicle sticks vertically on the back to secure them together. Let it dry.
Then paint the front side brown. While it dries, cut white pipe cleaner to make the tusks and push them inside the two brown pom poms.
Now use glue stick to fix eyes and pom poms in place.
That’s about it all!
