Picnik is going away. And we need an alternative that is as much fun and easy to use as Picnik. So, PicMonkey came to the internet world just a few days back. I love the fact that they call it a picture editor for picnik addicts (like myself). PicMonkey is very easy and similar to Picnik and I love it.
They are still working on bringing the collages and other stuff and I can’t wait to see what they bring but for now I use it to fix my not so perfect images and it works like a charm.
See for yourself.

I seriously, don’t feel like guiding you through something that is already for baby steps like mine. But still just for fun, here’s how it works.
Conveniently, click to choose or drag your image over to the blue square.
Start exploring and have fun with all the exciting tools it has to offer.
For this simplest tutorial. I just moved the bars on the Exposure, Colors and Sharpen a little.
And added the text “Geranium” using the wonderful fonts it has to offer.
Once I was done. I got an improved and beautiful image at hands to share using picmonkey picture editor.
I then made this image using PicMonkey too. But for this one, I just played a little more.

Oh Boy! Thanks for the link to PicMonkey today. I've heard it mentioned lately as an alternative to Picnik, but hadn't checked it out yet. So far ~ so good. I played around with it and it looks good. Easy as well. Yes, I would like to know how you did the collage. Thanks so much for the timely post today.
Loved picnik, was sad to see it go. picmonkey is very easy to use, and it does make a huge difference on pictures.
