Popsicle sticks squirrel is the cutest new collection to our popsicle stick kids crafts. Crafting with popsicle sticks (also called lolly sticks or wooden sticks) has endless possibilities. This fall/ autumn children friendly craft is also winter associated as squirrels can be seen till late December. So, me and my six year old were excited to make this adorable project in Holidays.
Let’s have a look at it:

To make this easy craft here’s a simple tutorial:

You will need:
I started by aligning 7 popsicle sticks vertically and used two more on the back and glued them horizontally to secure the shape in place. Let it dry.
Then I painted the front side with brown acrylic paint. Once it dried, I used glue stick to stick all the parts in place to make ears, whiskers, eyes and nose of squirrel.
We ended up giving a smile curve to the squirrel as well but that idea came after the picture was taken.
That’s about it all!
