Today I am going to share with you my fun flower chandelier.
Right now I am in the process of creating (if that is what you want to call it) my girls room, I saw the inspiration for this project by Angie at the Country Chic Cottage and fell in love. She made it seem so simple that I had to do it!

I raided my stash of fabric for all the white ones that I had. I found some plain and some patterned fabrics. I cut them into roughly 3 inch squares. Then I used a flower die on the squares and proceeded to cut a ton of flowers out. It was not that hard actually, as I used 6-8 pieces at a time. And my little girl wanted to help. I ended up cutting about 300 fabric flowers.
Then I took three embroidery hoops all different sizes, painted them white and tied them together. This part of actually the hardest of the entire project. But I finally got it done!
Next I sewed all the flowers together into one long row. I did this at several different times as my house is chaotic when kids are home from school, so I did not get a picture of this. You can see the chandelier to see what I mean.
Now for the easy part. I just glued the flowers to the hoops and then cut them to the desired length
Thanks Jen for sharing your cute chandelier. Don’t you just love how it looks?
